Vacation Inspiration

I love vacations! (I know, duh, right?) Something about being in a new place and fewer responsibilities means I get all kinds of creative!

I started a new story that was inspired by seeing this clip a few weeks ago:

 

So the woman in the clip is fine, but I started wondering what would happen if she weren't. If that really were a mezzanine with a drop to the second floor. I have lots of yummy ideas for her!

It's interesting to me that I'm creating this comic that has so very, very few words in it. Considering that I'm trained as a writer, this is fascinating to see. I guess that's why I'm doing this story visually; because it really has to be!

You know what I've realized? I really enjoy the drawing and I don't mind that I'm not a great artist yet. I know I'll get better as I practice! I think this panel is already noticeably better than the first. But I am really creating this for my own joy and it feels great!

I finished the first comic strip of what I hope will be many detailing the story of Eve and Julie and how they (usually accidentally) hurt one another. Standard disclaimer applies: these characters are fictional and what I do to them in fiction I would never wish on anyone in real life.

Learning to Draw

I have a problem.

It seems like every time I see a new form of art, I want to do it too!

My friend turned me on to this show about web comic artists...

Oh my gosh, it looks so fun! I've been wanted to learn to draw for a while now. Particularly after seeing the amazing (and oh so hot) pictures of Excilion on DeviantArt, I really wanted to learn to draw pictures like that myself and tell stories with a new medium.

So I've been practicing my drawing skills and I've even come up with some characters and a plot to do a sexy web comic of women and cast bondage. I'm turning myself on working on it, so that's got to be a good sign. ;)

Price Lowered

In response to the poll, I have lowered the price for my longer stories to $1.50.

It's a shame that Amazon has decreed that anything under $2.99 will get a 30% royalty instead of 70%. The amount I can make per story drops drastically when I go below $2.99!

But that's not your fault, that's just Amazon. They want to encourage people to keep stories and books priced between $2.99 and $9.99.

I hope this changes makes it easier for you to enjoy my work! There's still plenty of intro stories that are priced free or 99 cents too.

Give them a try, cause if you're anything like me, they will get you super hot.
